Valtix Expands Support for AWS Gateway Load Balancer to New Regions

Last week AWS released support for Gateway Load Balancer (GWLB) in four new regions, adding to the five regions from the initial launch in November 2020. Valtix has now added support for the new regions (in bold); here’s the current tally:

  • us-east-2 – US East (Ohio)
  • ap-northeast-1 – Asia Pacific (Tokyo)
  • eu-central-1 – EU (Frankfurt)
  • eu-north-1 – EU (Stockholm)
  • us-east-1 – US East (N. Virginia)
  • us-west-2 – US West (Oregon)
  • eu-west-1 – EU (Ireland)
  • ap-southeast-2 – Asia Pacific (Sydney)
  • sa-east-1 – South America (Sao Paulo)

Valtix customers can use the SaaS portal or Terraform to deploy Valtix Gateways using AWS Gateway Load Balancer. To learn more about this see the links below. Of course, as a service, Valtix abstracts all the network plumbing and offers a simple point and click deployment to deploy elastic security that grows and shrinks based on application traffic. GWLB allows Valtix to do a cloud-native integration that seamlessly secures inbound, outbound/egress and east-west traffic – all without having to constantly maintain any network security infrastructure. To learn more see below links:

As a security-as-a-service (SaaS), Valtix can easily add new features and support for new cloud offerings in a matter of days, fully tested and ready to be used. GWLB introduces a fundamental shift towards simplicity in securing your public cloud workloads. As the only SaaS launch partner of GWLB, Valtix reduces the operational friction of deploying advanced network security to protect your cloud workloads against attacks from the Internet, prevent exfiltration and stop lateral movement of attacks. Recently, we’ve expanded our Discovery features to provide visibility into exfiltration attempts in egress traffic (outbound to Internet) even before Valtix Gateways are deployed.
